Cold-water and hot-water metering should not be specified from the same short list. ConnectME has updated the product information available for its U42 multi-jet dry-type water meter and U70 advanced ultrasonic hot-water meter. The product pages include model-specific technical tables and links to their current datasheets.
What changed for buyers
The U42 is a DN15-DN20 potable cold-water meter with a T50 temperature class and an optional pulse-output variant. The U70 is a DN15-DN40 ultrasonic hot-water meter with a T70 temperature class, T90 as an option, and wired or wireless communications options. Their dimensions, flow tables and ordering information should be reviewed against the specific size and variant before a purchase specification is finalized.
Why the distinction matters
An owner or consultant choosing a meter for a new or existing building needs to match the actual water service, pipe size, temperature class, reading method and installation conditions. The revised pages make those questions easier to answer without treating a cold-water meter and a hot-water meter as interchangeable. For a practical comparison, see our U42 and U70 selection guide.
Product specifications are from ConnectME's current U42 and U70 datasheets, available on their linked product pages. This is a documentation update, not a claim of a new product launch or a measured project outcome. The image is illustrative and does not depict either named model.
